Permanent moves within Europe
Hungary
Relocation to Hungary
Hungary is an EU and Schengen member but keeps its own currency, the forint, rather than the euro. Hungarian is the official language and is unrelated to the Slavic and Germanic languages around it, which makes it a harder starting point than most of the region. The country is landlocked and largely flat, centred on the Danube. The cities covered here are the capital and three regional university cities.
