- within each of all nine valid EURO-CORDEX chains under RCP4.5, subtract the 1991-2020 mean annual hot-day count from the 2041-2060 mean; take the median of the nine changes and add it to the direct Copernicus ERA5-Land 1991-2020 city-point hot-day normal; constrain the physical result to 0-365 days per year
- Limits
- Copernicus v2.0 model output under RCP4.5, not a measurement or forecast. The value anchors the median 1991-2020 to 2041-2060 change from all nine valid gridded EURO-CORDEX chains at the nearest 0.25-degree cell to the direct ERA5-Land normal. It must never be presented without its scenario, periods and modelled status.
