Permanent moves within Europe

Choose a city you can live with.

Compare the things that shape the next twenty years, not the next long weekend. Every published figure keeps its source, date, geographic scope and confidence.

The city set

Every country, and every city in it.

Each country leads to the cities covered there, and each city page carries the same measures, the same units and the same gaps. Being listed is not a recommendation, and it is not a claim of complete data.

Directional comparison

A move has a starting point.

Leaving Poland for Prague is not the same decision as leaving Germany for it. The starting point is the country you live in now, because that is what a move changes first — tax residence, registration, healthcare entitlement, whether a qualification is recognised. Two figures that cannot be compared honestly say so instead of being subtracted anyway.

There is no overall score and no winner. You get the arithmetic, the geographic level each number was measured at, and the evidence behind it.

Start with two places

Choose a cross-border move. The starting point is the country you live in now.

Relocation pages cover moves between countries, so cities in the country you are leaving are not offered. They remain available in the city finder.

The product contract

Useful because it shows the downside.

A relocation decision needs more than a score. These two commitments shape every city page and every comparison.

01

The anti-recommendation is part of the answer.

Every city must explain what a household could be giving up. Trade-offs stay visible and never become paid placement.

02

Every published number can be checked.

Figures show their source, period, real geographic scope and confidence beside the value, with a citation to the exact evidence.

Current publication status

Missing data stays missing.

The city evidence is still being assembled.

The site covers 178 cities today, but inclusion is not a claim of complete data. Working pages remain out of search results while their coverage, limitations and reviewed trade-offs are still being assembled.
